Lan Sabai is an idyllic, sustainable health resort designed with your well-being in mind. As a long-time business woman who operated several successful companies in her native Amsterdam, owner Lisa van Roode noticed that stress, burnout and overall poor health was becoming a way of life for many people. Her experiences led to a desire to develop a wellness retreat that prioritized relaxation and self-discovery.

Wellness and sustainability go hand-in-hand at our resort. Everything we use goes back into our ecosystem, helping us provide the best eco-sustainable experience as possible. With a view to becoming CO2 neutral, our entire resort has LED lighting and double walled glass windows to help lower heating and electricity costs. Rainwater is collected for the garden and leftover waste is repurposed into food for the animals and fertilizer for our organic garden. Cutlery and utensils are made from recycled glass, bamboo, vegetable waste and other materials.
