The studio’s recent project, Our Home, a private residential villa in Bahrain, exemplifies Msquare Design’s signature style. Completed on September 24, 2024, the villa is a new-build residence crafted for an architect couple with contrasting design preferences. The wife favors classic wooden elements, while the husband leans toward sleek modern aesthetics with marble finishes. Msquare Design harmoniously combined these tastes, creating a refined dialogue between traditional warmth and contemporary elegance.

A neutral base palette is accented with bold furniture and accessories, chosen for both functionality and visual impact. Spatial planning was carefully executed to maximize natural light and maintain privacy, with open, connected living areas and separate bedrooms and kitchen spaces. The villa’s double-height space and sculptural staircase, crafted from richly veined marble, serve as the architectural focal point, blending artistry with everyday functionality.

Key features of the project include the thoughtful integration of sun-oriented spatial layouts, the seamless balance between classic and modern materials, and a “breathing space” concept that enhances openness and tranquility. Every element, from furnishings to finishes, reflects the homeowners’ desire for comfort, flexibility, and elegance.
