Water conservation is supported through treated greywater recycling for landscaping and the use of native, drought-resistant plants that preserve biodiversity while minimizing water consumption. 

Plastic reduction plays a central role in the resort’s sustainability strategy. Through Accor’s Zero Plastic initiative, Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island has eliminated single-use plastic items and introduced an in-house glass water bottling plant with refillable bottles, significantly reducing plastic waste while maintaining high hygiene standards. 

Sustainability extends into culinary operations through locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, an on-site organic herb garden, and structured food waste monitoring and recycling programs. Guests are also encouraged to participate through towel and linen reuse programs, environmental awareness initiatives, and community activities such as coastal clean-ups and tree planting. 

These collective efforts have earned the resort Silver EarthCheck Certification, held since January 2025.
