Château de La Chaize, a family-owned wine estate in Beaujolais since 1676, is recognized as a French national historical monument. Known for its rich heritage, exceptional terroir, and commitment to quality, the estate is the largest in Beaujolais and southern Burgundy, covering 450 hectares, with 150 hectares dedicated to vineyards. The Gruy family has passionately cultivated the estate’s vineyards, employing a parcel-based approach across Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Fleurie, and Morgon, producing wines that reflect the unique character of each location.

Certified organic in 2022, the property is deeply dedicated to environmental sustainability, striving for carbon neutrality and zero waste. It integrates innovative technologies, including geothermal and solar energy, electric vehicles, and eco-grazing by sheep to naturally maintain the vineyards. The wine cellar, built in 1771, is one of the longest in Beaujolais, providing an ideal controlled environment for aging wines to perfection.
