Set in the heart of Gualtallary, Tupungato, at 1,300 meters above sea level, Bodega Andeluna is a family-owned winery crafting high-altitude premium wines that embody the spirit of the Andes. Founded in 2003 through a partnership between the renowned Rutini family and Ward Lay, the son of PepsiCo’s founder, Andeluna was later acquired by the Barale family in 2013. Under their stewardship, the winery has flourished, combining innovation, sustainability, and a deep respect for the land to create wines that authentically express the distinctive terroir of Gualtallary in the Uco Valley, Mendoza.

The name Andeluna poetically merges the majesty of the Andes Mountains with the moon that illuminates them—an emblem of the harmony between nature and craftsmanship that defines the winery’s philosophy. Set amidst alluvial soils once part of an ancient seabed, Andeluna’s vineyards thrive under extreme climatic conditions, producing grapes of remarkable character and intensity. Every bottle reflects the balance between altitude, soil, and human artistry, resulting in wines of elegance, depth, and identity.

At Andeluna, winemaking is both a science and an art—a collective interpretation of the land’s voice by a passionate team of enologists. Beyond the vineyard and cellar, the estate offers a fully immersive experience that seamlessly integrates vineyard, winery, restaurant, and lodge within a single, breathtaking setting. Guests are invited to discover Andeluna’s philosophy through guided tastings, gastronomic pairings, and stays surrounded by the Andes, where wine is not only tasted but lived.

Recognized globally as a leading producer of mountain wines from Mendoza, Bodega Andeluna continues to serve as an ambassador of Argentine excellence, uniting heritage, innovation, and the enduring beauty of its natural landscape in every sip.
