GINGGAANBAI Outdoor Living is a Bangkok-based garden and outdoor living design studio that has spent over 20 years redefining modern Thai landscape design. Founded by architects and garden designers Tawatchai Sakdikul and Ploytabtim Suksang, the studio was created with a clear purpose: to design gardens as functional extensions of everyday living, shaped by lifestyle, emotion, and nature. The name GINGGAANBAI—meaning branch, stem, and leaf—reflects a design philosophy rooted in growth, connection, and organic balance.
Recognized as a leader in contemporary garden design in Thailand, GINGGAANBAI has completed more than 2,000 bespoke gardens, supported by a multidisciplinary team of designers, landscape architects, horticulturists, and craftsmen. Each project is developed through a collaborative process that blends spatial planning, tropical planting expertise, and refined material selection. Their signature “hidden object” approach introduces personalized elements throughout each garden, creating outdoor spaces that tell the client’s story rather than follow trends.
GINGGAANBAI’s portfolio includes private residences, urban sanctuaries, and experiential garden installations, such as Ripple Retreat: The Garden Runway, Thailand’s first performing garden exhibition. Internationally, the studio has received significant recognition, including a Silver-Gilt Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, professional membership with the Society of Garden & Landscape Designers (UK), and awards from major flower shows in Asia and the Middle East. Their work has been featured on leading design platforms, reinforcing their reputation in modern landscape architecture.
At the core of GINGGAANBAI Outdoor Living is a belief that gardens support wellbeing, balance, and daily life. Through climate-responsive design, sustainable practices, and modernist aesthetics adapted for tropical environments, the studio continues to shape the future of outdoor living—locally and globally—one meaningful garden at a time.
