Damian Tan – PARKROYAL on Beach Road

Damian Tan, General Manager of PARKROYAL on Beach Road, is a visionary leader and an accomplished hotelier with over two decades of experience in luxury hospitality. His career, defined by dedication, leadership, and a passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences, consistently demonstrates his ability to elevate operations and inspire teams. 

His journey in hospitality began early, sparked by childhood travels with his father to luxury hotels. These experiences fueled a desire to provide the same impeccable service he admired. This passion led Damian to pursue formal education in hospitality and tourism, laying the groundwork for a distinguished career. 

Damian’s professional milestones include leadership roles in esteemed properties such as The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore (1996–1999), Grand Copthorne Waterfront (1999–2004), and JW Marriott Singapore (2016–2017). Notably, he played a pivotal role in the rebranding of Marina Mandarin to PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay (2017–2019), showcasing his expertise in operational strategy and brand transformation. 

International assignments, including stints at Grand Millennium Abu Dhabi (2002) and Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Nairobi (2023), highlight his versatility and global perspective. Damian also served as Cluster GM for Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s Serviced Suites Singapore (2022–2023), where he managed multiple properties with outstanding results. 

At PARKROYAL on Beach Road, Damian’s leadership combines strategic vision with a commitment to sustainability and innovation. A mentor and advocate for excellence, he actively contributes to industry growth through roles with organizations like the Singapore Hotel Association Sustainability Committee and the Institute of Technical Education.
