Headquartered in Bucharest, Romania, KXL Studio has emerged as one of the nation’s most celebrated architectural practices. Led by architect Andrei Nistor, the firm earned consecutive recognition from the Luxury Lifestyle Awards—honored in 2023 for the UP-site project and again in 2024 for Nordului Park Residence 56. In 2024, they were selected as one of LLA’s TOP 100 Architects of the world.

Since its founding approximately sixteen years ago, KXL Studio has cultivated a multidisciplinary team that brings together architecture, design, restoration, urban planning, technical services, and consultancy across civil, industrial, and road-construction domains. The UP-site project, located in Bucharest’s Floreasca district, features twin towers marked by a full-glass façade, engineered for both visual impact and environmental efficiency. Sustainable features include fresh-air systems, rainwater retention, high-efficiency centralized heating/cooling, exterior brise-soleil, bicycle facilities, EV charging, and over 38 percent of the site dedicated to green space.

Nordului Park Residence 56, another flagship development in northern Bucharest, reinforces the firm’s luxury-meets-sustainability paradigm. Each apartment spans at least 100 sqm and connects directly with adjacent parkland. The complex incorporates photovoltaic panels, heat pumps, in-floor heating, green roof terraces, and low-carbon materials like natural stone and sustainably sourced wood.
