Alexander Wong Architects

Alexander Wong is a multi-award-winning architect and writer based in Hong Kong. A Princeton-trained architect with an Executive MBA from the Kellogg–HKUST program, he is a Registered Architect and Authorized Person in Hong Kong, and a member of HKIA, RIBA, and an International Associate of the AIA. In 2001, he founded Alexander Wong Architects, a studio renowned for its cinematic, future-driven approach to space.

Wong specializes in luxury homes for A-list film industry clients, alongside original concepts for residential, retail, leisure, hospitality and cultural projects. Twice selected by Architectural Digest China as one of the “Top 100 Architecture & Design Talents in China” (2013, 2015), he has become a key voice in contemporary Asian design.

Under his leadership, Alexander Wong Architects has received more than 90 international awards, including “World’s Best Retail” and “World’s Best Show Home” at the International Property Awards 2015–2016 in London, Platinum A’ Design Award (Italy) 2017, German Design Award 2020, and Asia’s Most Influential Designer Award (AMIDA) 2022. He has also been honored as Best Young Interior Designer of the Decade (2015), Best Innovative Architect of the Decade (2017), World’s Best Designer (2018) and for Excellence in Innovation & Leadership in Interior Design at the LE FONTI Awards.

In 2016, his project “Carmen Futura” won “World’s Best Interior Design” at the International Property Awards, a feat repeated with “WM Hotel” (2023), “Vivace ‧ Ice & Fire” (2024) and “Spiral Sky & Ocean Aria” (2025) – making his firm the only practice ever to win the World’s Best Interior Design Award four times.
