One notable example is Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, where the architecture draws inspiration from the island’s native flora and fauna. Faceted forms reference the patterned shells of Hawksbill turtles, while villas are positioned sensitively away from nesting areas and surrounded by expansive gardens. Sustainable design measures include solar energy, water recycling, energy-efficient lighting, responsible material choices and locally inspired handcrafted elements.
