For more than 15 years, Carey Duncan Design has played an integral role in the evolution of Casa Green Town, shaping its golf course planting, resort landscapes, urban trails, and residential streetscapes. Now, The Park serves as the master plan’s social and ecological heart. Conceptualized to act as the community’s “Central Park,” it weaves together multifunctional gathering spaces, two playgrounds, a health trail, and kiosks that foster local entrepreneurship. By limiting turf grass to less than half of the total landscape—an uncommon strategy in Morocco—the design achieves substantial water savings while promoting indigenous biodiversity.
The Park also features innovative systems such as an on‑site composting facility for garden and green waste, a solar‑powered irrigation network, and extensive use of recycled water throughout the site. These sustainable solutions set a new standard for public space in arid regions, reinforcing the firm’s reputation for environmentally attuned design.
