La Querola d’Ordino is a remarkable residential complex of 51 designer homes situated in the picturesque Ordino Valley of the Pyrenees. The project’s environmental design benefits are evident in every aspect of this unique development.

La Querola consists of seven monolithic structures that not only blend with the landscape but become integral geographic features. The use of stone, wood, steel, and glass as fundamental materials perfectly harmonizes with the environment.

On the north facades, wavy skins of slate slabs with glass openings, balconies, and private covered terraces pay homage to the granitic landscape. In contrast, the south facades, constructed with treated wood and glass, feature straight lines, large openings, and terraces that seamlessly open into the forest, flooding the interiors with natural light.

La Querola prioritizes communal spaces, from the welcoming reception area to the spa, pools, and gardens, all meticulously designed to enhance the alpine sophistication envisioned by Jean Nouvel.
