The building at Gatterburggasse 12 represents a perfect symbiosis between traditional architectural heritage and the highest standards of contemporary living.
Outside, a clear, distinctive style that has been understood for generations – solidly representative and emanating a sense of dependability, trust and security. Inside, a successful fusion of the building’s old and new segments, and of the highest artistic and architectural standards.
“Inside XIX” combines the architectural heritage of Vienna with the demands of the present day. In cooperation with the architectural firm Atelier Heiss, the historic face of the building is being extensively restored and, taking into account the structure’s traditional core, large parts of the building are being thoroughly reconstructed.
Thus by 2022 in the pre-war segment, 15 apartments will be built featuring traditional high ceilings and spacious living areas. Oak herringbone parquet flooring and Old Vienna-style fittings as well as high-quality sanitary fixtures and fittings will ensure a comfortable, sophisticated living environment. The 101 apartments in the adjacent new building will also exude an inviting atmosphere. High-quality parquet flooring, open areas such as balconies, terraces or private gardens as well as the quiet interior courtyard area will make it a personal oasis of comfort.
Urban and close to nature
The spacious parks and marvellous population of trees will give those who make their way to Vienna’s 19th district a foretaste of the Vienna Woods, which extend far into the district. Here, with optimal underground and tram connections, one can experience the advantages of the city while being so close to the vineyards and wine tavern culture of the former suburbs of Grinzing and Nussdorf. Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg, popular Viennese destinations for excursions, are just beyond the area.
