This effort is driven by their Wyndham Green program, which focuses on education and innovation, developing sustainable programs that deliver economic benefits and enhance customers’ lives by caring for the environment.

The Wyndham Green Certification identifies whether a property has implemented core, essential, proficient, advanced, or expert sustainability practices. Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay recently received Level 2 certification under the Wyndham Green program. They also achieved the Silver level of the Green Hotel Thailand Award.

Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay is a certified SHA Plus + resort. The certification serves as a guarantee to tourists and the public that the products and services provided have met the protocols of cleanliness, health, vaccination, and safety standards.

Another noteworthy feat is that the resort grows its own fresh produce for guest meals through a specially-planted orchard and herb garden. Food waste onsite will also be collected and used as fertilizer for these fruit trees and herbs.
