Established by visionaries Aurelio Montes, Douglas Murray, Alfredo Vidaurre, and Pedro Grand, the winery has become one of Chile’s most respected producers, recognized globally for its commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.

Montes Wines prioritizes regenerative agriculture, a forward-thinking approach that restores soil health, enhances biodiversity, and improves water efficiency. By capturing CO2 and reducing carbon emissions, these practices contribute to a more sustainable future while also benefiting local communities through increased yields and lower production costs. In partnership with organizations such as FAO, the winery is actively expanding regenerative practices across Chile. Additionally, its involvement in the Colchagua Valley water footprint project alongside 25 other wineries is driving innovation in water conservation.

The winery’s dedication to sustainability has resulted in 19,000 tons of CO2 sequestered in the soil and a 10% reduction in water consumption per hectare over the past four years. Montes Wines holds prestigious certifications, including the Sustainability Code of Wines of Chile and B Corporation status, and has been recognized as the “Top Sustainable Farming Company in Latin America” by Agri-Business Review.
