Design & Sustainability

Designed by world-renowned architects WOHA, PARKROYAL on Pickering is a ‘hotel-in-a-garden’ concept featuring over 15,000 square metres of lush gardens, waterfalls and planter walls, which constitutes more than twice the hotel’s total land area. The tactile undulating building design, inspired by the rice-paddy fields of Bali, features Singapore’s first zero-energy sky gardens powered by solar energy cells and features a diverse variety of over 10 flora species.

The comprehensive energy and water conservation features include light, rain and motion sensors, as well as the use of rain harvesting and NEWater (recycled water). Stunning natural materials and textures have been used throughout the design of the hotel, including light and dark wood, pebbles, water, green ‘moss’ carpets and glass. Through these efforts PARKROYAL on Pickering has gained recognition as Asia’s leading green hotel 2015 by the World Travel Awards.

Orchid Club

The exclusive Orchid Club Lounge located at the hotel’s top level offers panoramic views of the city and comes equipped with private meeting spaces, a library and dedicated Club Concierge.
