In 2024, their prowess was affirmed as they received a Luxury Lifestyle Awards for Best Luxury Hotel Architecture for their project, the Mamula Island Hotel in Montenegro. Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Boka Bay, Mamula Island boasts careful restoration and preservation. Originally a 19th-century fort, every brick, wall, and feature has been painstakingly restored to its former glory in collaboration with local heritage authorities, reflecting the company’s loyalty to sustainable practices and historical stewardship.
The interior design narrative of Mamula Island was masterfully crafted by WESTUDIO, infusing the space with a merging of modern luxury and timeless elegance. From conceptualization to completion, MCM Architecture & Design spearheaded this transformative project, with the project culminating in 2022.
