In 2010, respected life coach and author Andreas D. Ioannou launched HANDY SPA, which produces and trades 100% natural and homemade soaps and cosmetics. Prior to this, Ioannou casually traded his organic soaps to friends and family, but after a few years, HANDY SPA became a fully fledged brand and is now a successful business that includes hemp, baby, make up and pet care lines.  

Working with specialists such as dermatologists, pathologists, botanists and chemical analysts, Ioannou established the first licenced workshop in Europe to produce certified, organic handmade soaps. All HANDY SPA products are made using the cold process method and with only top-quality raw materials that are free of chemical and toxic additives, perfumes and colors. 

“I founded HANDY SPA out of a desire to manage my allergic reaction to soaps with certain toxic substances. The reception to HANDY SPA was impressive and it made me realize that many others were dealing with the same issue I was and were looking for products they could trust, that worked and were natural,” says Ioannou.  

HANDY SPA’s range of products are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic, certified and reported to the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal of the EU. All ingredients used in the production of their soaps and cosmetics are natural and organic with no parabens, sulphates or petrochemicals. Furthermore, they are animal cruelty free, vegan  and GMO free.  

In 2022, Luxury Lifestyle Awards awarded HANDY SPA the title Best Luxury Organic Cosmetics, Europe.
