The renovation of Twelve On Parkhurst commenced on March 2nd and was completed on March 20th, showcasing the team’s efficiency and dedication. Originally a mid-20th-century residential property, the house has been given a new lease on life with a distinctive African theme, fulfilling the client’s brief for a masculine, neutral-colored aesthetic.

One of the major challenges faced during this project was sourcing authentic African-styled furniture and décor that met the client’s high standards. Papillon Interior Designs successfully navigated these challenges by collaborating with suppliers such as Amatuli Artefacts, Cielo, Leroy Merlin, and Hertex, ensuring a cohesive and culturally rich interior.

The comprehensive renovation included the installation of new electrical points, laminate flooring, and custom-built cupboards. The walls were repainted and adorned with striking stone wallpaper in the lounge area, creating a focal point that epitomizes the project’s unique charm. All-new furniture was meticulously selected to harmonize with the African theme, adding to the home’s masculine yet inviting atmosphere.

Papillon Interior Designs provided a full turnkey solution, from 3D designs to implementation, coordinating teams of skilled wallpaper installers, builders, electricians, flooring experts, and stylists. Their holistic approach ensured a seamless transformation of the property.
