Founded by the enterprising Benoit Marguet, this esteemed house recently garnered the title of Best Luxury Champagne Brand in France, 2024 by Luxury Lifestyle Awards. Champagne Marguet, a producer of exceptional wines, is a vibrant celebration of nature and…
Behind every precious drop of Krug stands the dream of a visionary. One man who, long before others, understood that the essence of Champagne is pleasure.
So, over 170 years ago, Joseph Krug broke with convention to follow his vision. To create the most generous expression of Champagne every year, regardless of climatic unpredictability.
Time has worked its magic. Cristal is a giant with a patient heart. It is still brimming with youth, even after many long years spent resting in the cellars. The chalk has concentrated its texture and given it its unique energy and surprising depth. Its pure tension, opulence and remarkable persistence take it above and beyond any limits.
Champagne is a wine of legend. The entire history of the Veuve Clicquot House is marked by mythical wines, all of which respect the demand for quality that was the force that drove Madame Clicquot. True to this heritage, the House is proud of its motto: “Only one quality, the finest”. A short lineage of just 10 Cellar Masters has led this quest for quality, thereby ensuring the continuity of the Veuve Clicquot style: strength and complexity. Veuve Clicquot priors itself on excellence and quality. Only the juice from the cuvee (the first and most noble pressing) is used.
The House of Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by André Michel Pierlot and took the name Vve Laurent-Perrier when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, the widow of Eugène Laurent, combined the two family names after she decided to expand the business.
The House of Ruinart is unlike any other. It was the first established House of Champagne in 1729 and inspired by the intuition of a monk well ahead of his time, at a time when a new ‘art of living’ was emerging in France. Sustaining, developing and exporting this art is a mission that comes naturally to the oldest champagne House.
Simply put, it is a grand vin… with bubbles. Salon is a unique Champagne. All the emphasis in the production of this exceptional wine is on the singular. It was originally the product of one single man, Aimé Salon; from one single region, the Côte de Blancs; from one single cru, le Mesnil-sur-Oger; from one single grape variety, Chardonnay; and from one single vintage, with no blending whatsoever.
In 1952, the Taittinger Champagne House created the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs – its most exclusive and premium cuvée – in honour of the Comtes de Champagne and in particular Thibaud IV, whose seal proudly adorns every bottle of Taittinger.
Dom Pérignon commitment to vintages is absolute. Each Dom Pérignon is a true act of creation, made from only the best grapes. Each vintage is a creation, singular and unique, that expresses both the character of the year, and the character of Dom Pérignon. After at least eight years of elaboration in the cellars, the wine embodies the perfect balance of Dom Pérignon, the Plénitude of harmony.
12th and 13th generation wine growers, Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son, Alexandre, craft the prestige cuvées of Armand de Brignac. Their dream was to create a champagne of the most exceptional quality, that would represent the best of the best from the region, where their family have grown vines for more than 250 years.
The Bollinger champagne House has created prestigious champagnes with character, distinguished by their elegance and complexity, since 1829. These outstanding wines are the result of rigorous attention to detail, for Bollinger accepts nothing less than excellence.
You are no doubt a great lover of Champagne and fond of festive occasions.
Or perhaps you just like parties, with or without a sparkling accompaniment.
Perhaps you are a connoisseur of Champagne, who prefers the privacy and
intensity of organized tastings. Or a daring but open-minded aesthete,
whose curiosity has been piqued.
Charles Heidsieck, the founder of the brand, is a confirmed traveller and free-spirited, smooth-talking gentleman entrepreneur, focused on his champagne business. His elegant eloquence is much admired. His impetuosity is impressive. His champagnes embody his personality: emblematic and unique.
The first pages of the Maison MUMM fabled winemaking history were written long before 1827, its official founding date; the Mumm family, whose lineage includes barons and knights, dates back to the 12th century. Already in 1761, the family had launched a business as wine producers and merchants based in Cologne, Germany under the name “P.A.Mumm”, after its owner Peter Arnold Mumm. The company owned large vineyards in the Rhine valley, where it created its own wines.
The House of Joseph Perrier is an individual and historic one. Each champagne is carefully made to demonstrate the precise and particular style of the cuvée. In addition to the Royal Cuvées, supplied to Queen Victoria and King Edward VII, we have created many special vintage champagnes.
The pioneering spirit has always defined our brand, in every arena from viniculture to new ways of celebrating with champagne. It all began with our founder Claude Moët’s vision of transforming a prestigious but little known regional wine into a favourite of cosmopolitans and courtiers throughout Europe.
It was in 1811 that Pierre-Nicolas Perrier married Adèle Jouët, thus marking the genesis of the House of Perrier-Jouët. Characterised from the outset by its uncompromising standards, the House was a pioneer in the field of traceability and the fight against counterfeiting.
The noble origin of Rare Champagne dates back to a tribute to Marie-Antoinette and expresses its revolutionary spirit fight against the trivialisation of vintages. Régis Camus, the Cellar Master of Rare Champagne, exclusively selects a truly singular year, when nature has been tamed, when time and expertise unveil exceptional champagnes, gifted with a distinctive character and endless longevity.
In its 160 years of history, Pol Roger has carved out one of the most flattering reputations in the select circle of the leading Champagne brands. Champagne Pol Roger created their Prestige Cuvée in homage to Sir Winston Churchill mindful of the qualities that he sought in his champagne : robustness, a full-bodied character and relative maturity. The exact blend is a closely guarded family secret but it is undeniable that the composition would meet with the approval of the man to whom it is dedicated : “My tastes are simple, I am easily satisfied with the best”.
