Hotel Himmelrich

The Boutique Hotel Himmelrich is a newly renovated Hotel with 29 Rooms and Suites, a fine dining restaurant and terrasse with fantastic views over Lake Lucerne and Lucerne as well as a wellness area with 2 saunas, steam bath, treatment room and relax zone inside and outside.

The hotel is beautifully located in the heights of Lucerne and Kriens, positioned idyllically in between lush green hills, leading up to the famous Mount Pilatus.

Open all year, in summer it attracts not only daily hikers and cyclists but also international guests from around the world. A scenic boat tour on Lake Lucerne with one of the traditional steamboats is probably a good start to explore the region. The hotel is from time to time visited by Switzerland’s most photographed VIP guests – the cattle from the neighboring farmer Mount Pilatus station is within walking distance to the hotel and invites guests on a clear day to go up by cable car and enjoy the view.

In winter guests are invited to enjoy the wellness oasis any time of day while Mount Pilatus offers winter activities such as sledging, skiing, snowshoe hikes and much more. A shopping day in Lucerne is also adventurous and invites guests to linger and remain in town for photo shoots of the famous Kappelbrücke, the lake and Old Town of the city. Cafes and restaurants are open for Glühwein, Egg Nog and Feuerzangenbowle. The Christmas market is one to see while in Lucerne.

The Heaven Restaurant serves Mediterranean inspired modern cuisine led by Chef Gianny Banuta and team. The hosts and team of Boutique Hotel Himmelrich speak, German, Swiss German, English, French, Arabic, Spanish and Italian besides a few other languages and dialects.
