Villa Al Mghames by G.light by Ghada

G.light by Ghada brings a highly personalized perspective to residential interior design, creating homes shaped around the people who live in them. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the studio was founded in 2022 by Ghada Abdulwasea, Founder and Lead Interior Designer, and has since developed a portfolio spanning Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait.

Predominantly focused on residential interiors, G.light by Ghada approaches each project as an opportunity to establish an individual design language. Custom elements, thoughtful material choices, carefully planned lighting, and detailed execution contribute to interiors that feel distinctive without compromising comfort or functionality.

This philosophy is clearly expressed through Villa Al Mghames, a private family residence in Riyadh completed in May 2026. Designed as a home for the parents as well as a welcoming gathering place for their children and extended family, the new-build villa required an interior that could accommodate everyday living alongside larger family occasions.

G.light by Ghada introduced a hospitality-inspired character to the residence, drawing on the sense of comfort and refinement associated with luxury hotels while retaining the warmth expected of a family home. Bespoke wall treatments, lighting features, furniture, and decorative details were developed specifically for the property, giving each area its own character while maintaining cohesion throughout the villa.

Material selection played an important role in establishing the atmosphere of the residence. Every finish and design detail was considered in relation to the wider interior, with particular attention given to quality, visual balance, and execution. The result is a home designed to feel polished yet inviting, supporting both privacy and shared family experiences.

In 2026, Villa Al Mghames earned G.light by Ghada international recognition from Luxury Lifestyle Awards as Best Luxury Bespoke Villa Interior Design in Saudi Arabia. The award highlights the studio’s approach to creating residential environments where individual identity, custom design, and the practical realities of family life are considered together.

Through its growing regional portfolio, G.light by Ghada continues to develop interiors distinguished by tailored details, thoughtful spatial decisions, and a clear understanding of how people experience their homes.
