Onia Hills by NRA Atelier

Founded in 2016 by Nikola Radović and Sonja Milićević, NRA Atelier has emerged as a visionary studio at the forefront of sustainable and experiential architecture. Headquartered in Montenegro, the firm is celebrated for its multidisciplinary approach that fuses environmental awareness with refined, contemporary design. With every project, NRA Atelier seeks to create spaces that not only serve but inspire—responding to the natural landscape, cultural context, and the evolving needs of modern life.

The studio’s dedication to architectural integrity and ecological sensitivity has earned it international recognition, most recently from the Luxury Lifestyle Awards, which named NRA Atelier the Best Luxury Architect Visualization & Design firm of 2025. This accolade was awarded for their outstanding work on Onia Hills, a landmark coastal development in Katun Reževići, Montenegro.

Set within a Mediterranean hillside dotted with ancient olive trees, Onia Hills redefines luxury living through a deep respect for nature and material authenticity. The development features a five-star hotel and five four-star residential buildings designed to integrate seamlessly into the terrain. Local stone, kerlite surfaces, and clean white render reflect the surrounding environment, while expansive glazing floods interiors with sunlight and frames panoramic sea views.

Sustainability is a core principle across all aspects of the project. NRA Atelier implemented renewable energy solutions such as solar panels and heat pumps and ensured the protection of more than 100 olive trees during construction. The site also promotes community and wellness through thoughtfully designed spaces, including yoga areas, a spa, outdoor pools, dining venues, and a pedestrian-friendly central square.
