This restoration project involved revitalizing a historic fishermen’s hub—once a place where locals purchased groceries and conducted trade—into three luxurious and vibrant apartments. The goal was to tell the story of the building’s rich past while offering a refined and eclectic aesthetic.

GCR Design meticulously crafted each apartment to pay homage to the most significant owners and investors from 1860 to the present: Mr. Frøyen, Mr. Fosse, and Mr. Fosse Jr. Each space features design elements reflective of their respective eras, with striking wallpaper choices serving as visual storytelling devices. The interiors balance heritage and opulence, incorporating bold colors, carefully selected materials, and modern wallpapers to add depth and character.
