You Can Now Sit in a Bentley for Free

Article provided by Temasek Post

Bentley Motors has opened its CW1 House visitor experience centre in Crewe to the general public, ending an era in which access was reserved exclusively for Bentley customers.

The move gives car enthusiasts a chance to step inside the brand’s home and explore its history, craftsmanship and design up close.

CW1 House sits next to Bentley’s factory and includes a front-of-house area that’s free to enter during business hours, no booking required.

Visitors can browse a constantly rotating display of modern and recent heritage Bentleys, sit in the cars on show, and shop the Bentley Boutique for merchandise.

For a more in-depth visit, Bentley is now offering bookable, paid guided tours led by trained customer hosts.

After a barista coffee, groups of up to 12 are taken through CW1 House, where hosts explain the cars on display alongside historic artefacts including motorsport trophies from Bentley’s racing past.

The tour then continues into Lineage, Bentley’s heritage exhibition space, which had rarely been seen by the public.

Guests are taken through a digitally immersive journey tracing Bentley’s history back to its founding in 1919.

The exhibition features a rotating selection of significant heritage cars, complementing the modern lineup on show in CW1 House. Depending on the day, visitors may also see rare coachbuilt Bentleys from Mulliner or the new Supersports model.

Guided tours run on selected weekdays and must be booked in advance, with prices starting from £20 per person.

The launch is part of a broader expansion of Bentley’s historic Crewe site, which has seen new additions including a paintshop and The Mews, a private facility for customers.

While the main factory site remains off-limits to the public for now, Bentley says wider access is planned as the next phase of opening up Crewe to visitors.
