The new winner in the spotlight, SHADES DESIGN STUDIO has been awarded by Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2025 in the category of Best Contemporary Restaurant Interior Design for Villa Fayrouz in Saudi Arabia. 

Founded in 2015 in Diriyah, Riyadh, the studio has built a reputation for creating distinctive interiors that merge innovation with cultural resonance. The studio, led by MAram AlQahtani and supported by a skilled team including Interior Architect Roua AlHaddad, has once again demonstrated its expertise with the completion of Villa Fayrouz in April 2025. 

Villa Fayrouz is part of a renowned Lebanese restaurant chain celebrated for its elegant and culturally rich interior design, which enhances the dining experience by blending traditional Lebanese aesthetics with contemporary elements. For this project, SHADES DESIGN STUDIO was tasked with designing an interior that reflects the brand’s identity while drawing inspiration from Diriyah’s traditional character. The result is a space where Lebanese cultural motifs are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, creating a restaurant environment that enhances its cuisine. 

Natural materials were chosen throughout the project to reinforce authenticity, while traditional elements were abstracted and reimagined in ways that fit the project’s branding. This approach gives Villa Fayrouz a distinctive identity that sets it apart in Saudi Arabia’s dining landscape.
