Vattanac Golf Resort is an impressive development located on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, just 45 minutes from the city center. The resort was founded in 2019, and its main attraction today are two world-class golf courses designed by Sir Nick Faldo, who put his years of professional golfing experience into creating these two masterpieces. The Strategic East Course was the first Vattanac Golf Resort course to open in 2019. Sir Nick Faldo created a 7,467-yard par-72 course that gracefully utilizes the landscape and challenges players of all levels with its dramatic water features and creative bunkering. The highlights of East Course are replicas of the famous Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, and Preah Vihear Temple, referencing the riches of Khmer culture and Cambodian history.

The 7,249-yard par-72 West Course opened in 2020 and welcomes players with its winding paths, water features, a statue of the great King of the Khmer Empire, Jayavarman VII, and a statue inspired by The Terrace of the Elephants. In the center of the field is the Dragon Lake, which creates exciting challenges on the player’s path to the green.
