Luxury Lifestyle Awards: Before talking about Mykonos No5, could you please tell us about yourself and your career in the hotel business?

Litsa Kontiza: Me and my husband Dimitris, we are the owners of Mykonos No5, responsible for its successful hospitality experience. Our most valuable asset is our open & warm heartedness, felt by all guests from the first moment of their stay at the hotel.

I have a degree in International, European and Economic Studies. I have held executive positions in the Ministry of Environment and Public Works and in other development projects in Greece, including works for the Olympic Games.

Born in Mykonos, Dimitris Kontizas followed his father’s steps in the family construction business, both in Athens and in Mykonos. In Mykonos No5 hotel project he put not only the finest and most authentic elements but also his soul and his desire to offer a totally exceptional hospitality experience for upscale and demanding customers.

Kontizas family offers its clients the same exquisite “royal” treatment it would offer to its house guests. We do have the best source of information regarding a most magical Mykonos experience and we will personally make sure that all our guests’ needs are met in the most effective way.

LLA: In your opinion, what is the most enjoyable thing about Mykonos island?

LK: The sense of Freedom, the high end services, its natural beauty and eventually that Mykonos satisfies all kind of different demands and tastes.

LLA: Could you tell us about the common concept of Mykonos No5 Hotel and Villas?

LK: Mykonos No5 is a Hotel Concept but it offers much more than the design and physical layout.  It encompasses the service that we offer, the ambiance, the attention to the detail, the unique experience that we offer to our guests and the quality of our product.

We tried to think out of the box and introduce our guests again to the world of the 5 Senses: Vision, Hearing, Taste, Smell & Touch.
