“The Grand Ho Tram Swings for the Brighter Path at The Bluffs” Raises Support for Ethnic Minority Girls

Ho Chi Minh City, June 26, 2026 – The Grand Ho Tram and The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram, in partnership with VinaCapital Foundation and Vietnam Children’s Fund, are pleased to announce the charity golf tournament “The Grand Ho Tram Swings for the Brighter Path at The Bluffs.” The event will take place on August 7, 2026 at The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram. The tournament aims to raise funds for the Brighter Path Program, helping expand access to education, skills development, and leadership opportunities for marginalized ethnic minority girls across Vietnam.

Hosted at The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram, one of Asia’s leading golf destinations, the tournament is expected to bring together over 100 golfers, business leaders, sponsors, and partners who share a commitment to create positive social impact. This first edition of the tournament marks a new collaboration among the organizing partners to extend the positive impact of sport beyond the course and into the community.

Beyond the competition itself, the event will provide a valuable platform for businesses, partners, and philanthropists to connect, build relationships, and invest in the future of Vietnam’s next generation. Every tournament registration and sponsorship contribution will help create more opportunities for ethnic minority girls to continue their education, develop their potential, and pursue their aspirations.

Ethnic girls in Vietnam continue to face significant barriers to education and personal development. Born into communities where poverty rates are 6.7 times higher than the national average, many are at risk of dropping out of school, entering child marriage, engaging in child labor, or abandoning their dreams due to economic hardship. In addition to financial challenges, these girls often face limited access to quality education, healthcare, nutrition, and opportunities to develop essential life skills. As a result, ethnic minority girls and women remain the most vulnerable population in Vietnam and require greater support and opportunities to reach their full potential.

According to the Organizing Committee, all funds raised through the tournament will directly support the Brighter Path Program, which empowers ethnic minority girls through long-term scholarships, life skills training, career guidance, and leadership development activities. To date, the program has awarded scholarships to nearly 3,000 girls, including 163 students receiving long-term scholarships from high school through university.

In addition, the program has established 34 Brighter Path Girls’ Clubs in 34 schools, engaging more than 1,500 girls and extending educational outreach to over 24,000 students through school-wide activities. These afterschool clubs provide safe spaces where girls can learn, share experiences, and build confidence, while gaining knowledge about reproductive and sexual health, legal rights, financial literacy, leadership, and the self-confidence needed to become agents of positive change within their communities.

Through this tournament, the Organizing Committee aims to reach 200 more girls every year and expand the reach of the Brighter Path Program, enabling more ethnic minority girls to access quality education as well as comprehensive leadership and empowerment opportunities.

“Education is the key to helping girls overcome the dual barriers of poverty and inequality. Through this tournament, we hope to use athletics to mobilize greater support from businesses, the general community and individual donors so that more ethnic minority girls can continue their education, develop their capabilities, and pursue their goals. When one girl is given the opportunity to stay in school, the positive impact extends to her entire family and community,” said Rad Kivette, CEO of VinaCapital Foundation.

“At The Grand Ho Tram, we believe the success of a destination is measured not only by the experiences it delivers, but also by the positive impact it creates for the community. Through ‘The Grand Ho Tram Swings for the Brighter Path at The Bluffs’, we hope to bring together business leaders, partners, and golfers to help expand educational opportunities for ethnic minority girls. This tournament reflects our long-term commitment to sustainable development and creating meaningful impact beyond hospitality and tourism.”, said the representative of The Grand Ho Tram.

“Golf has a unique ability to bring people together around a purpose greater than the game itself. As the host venue, The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram is proud to partner with organizations that are transforming every round of golf into meaningful support for education. We hope this tournament will become an annual tradition where golfers not only enjoy world-class competition but also contribute to creating brighter futures for Vietnam’s next generation.”, said the representative of The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram.
