The Cliff Bar & Grill This picturesque Mediterranean restaurant was founded in 2004 and has grown remarkably over the last 19 years. It has received many awards and accolades with the most recent being the Luxury Lifestyle Awards in 2022, for the Best Luxury Mediterranean Cuisine in Thailand, 2022.

The Cliff is situated on top of beautiful granite boulders that look all the way down into the azure waters of Crystal Bay. The restaurant overlooks the pristine Silver Beach, which is famous for being the most beautiful beach on Koh Samui.

Owner, Bradley Munns, and general manager Lionel Helena traveled to Portugal, Spain, and Italy to find the unique blend of herbs, spices, and oils to create the truly unforgettable, tantalizing recipes served today. The Cliff Bar and Grill has set the benchmark as one of the best restaurants on Koh Samui, Thailand.

Only two columns separate the outside and inside dining areas so that every guest has access to the once-in-a-lifetime view. The air-conditioned bar and lounge areas allow guests to escape the tropical temperatures, and there is also a beautifully designed alabaster bar that creates a relaxed retreat for after-dinner drinks.

The Cliff is passionate about organic, sustainable food sources, providing organically home-grown vegetables and herbs from their garden. The seafood is delivered personally by local fishermen and the beef which has been grain fed for 150 days and dry-aged for 28 days, is imported from Australia. The award-winning wines include some of the most favorite international wines available from their easily accessible wine cellar. A list of over 200 award-winning wines from around the world are kept in The Cliff cellars.

Their famous kitchen is run by Executive Italian Chef Sergio Martelli, specializing in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. By his side is Chef de cuisine, Kwang Apinya, an extremely talented chef, who is known for her specialty in seafood cuisine, and Pastry Chef Thong Chai who is famous for his exquisite flavors and desserts.
