Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort has been honoured with the International Sustainability Awards for its commitment to regenerative hospitality. The award recognises the resort’s long-term efforts to combine exceptional guest experiences with responsible environmental practices and measurable ecosystem impact, reflecting its approach to sustainability within luxury hospitality.

Located on Klong Muang Beach near Ao Nang, the 276-room resort blends French-inspired luxury with warm Thai hospitality. The initiative is supported by long-term operational practices focused on environmental stewardship. More than 75 percent of the resort has been preserved as green space since opening, while ongoing investments in renewable energy, water conservation, waste reduction, and ecosystem restoration continue to support the resort’s environmental performance.The resort also collaborates with local communities, schools, government agencies, Marine Park Rangers, and the Royal Thai Navy to extend the impact of its sustainability programmes beyond the property.

Recent achievements include renewable energy generation, reductions in energy consumption and food waste, organic waste repurposing, mangrove and orchid planting, and growing guest participation in conservation initiatives.
