After starting out in the showrooms, Kendal founded her own practice and is now the sole designer of all SCHUTT pieces. The dedicated design company has become the due recipient of a Luxury Lifestyle Awards in 2022, for Best Luxury Designer Chairs in USA.

Kendal is an award-winning and internationally recognized designer, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, USA. She believes that furniture should be more than just furniture: “it is art, it is an experience…it is extraordinary”. Not a fan of excess or minimalism, Kendal believes that somewhere in between lies perfection, and ever lasting beauty.
