One such dream residence is the stunning Casa Aramara which has recently received extensive coverage in Mexico’s prestigious Architectural Digest Magazine. This spectacular family home on the Papagayo Peninsula in northwest Costa Rica balances comfort and luxury while integrating perfectly with the natural environment.

The site offered the company’s architects, Roderick Anderson and Rebeca Montero, who managed the project, many challenges with its steep and undulating terrain, a considerable outcrop of natural rock and a stream running through its centre. The team worked with this terrain to create a dazzling property that gives the impression of being suspended in the air, merging perfectly with its surroundings. It is also skillfully designed to make the most of the breathtaking location with spectacular sea and forest views.

The property is broken down into several modules. The central block has an inverted design over two levels. It is accessed from the upper level, where all the social areas and the outdoor entertainment spaces, including the terrace, grill, and pool, can be found. Downstairs are two guest rooms and a laundry room. The second block is divided into two floors: the main bedroom, private study, and two more guest rooms. The home perfectly exemplifies the company’s quest to create exceptional stylish homes that maximize available space and feature sustainable elements that enhance comfort and reduce energy needs.
