The 600,000 sq. ft  Principal Place has commercial and residential components to it. As its residential offering, the high-end Principal Tower has one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Each floor typically has eight apartments, with, for example, four two-bedroom units and four one-bedroom units. On the upper levels are the three-bedroom units and penthouses.  

Each apartment at Principal Tower has its own balcony, which is made possible by Foster + Partners’ design of the eight corners of the tower into a cross shape. “The focus is on the extraordinary views and setting, while creating a seamless relationship between the inside and the outside with floor-to-ceiling glazing panels,” says Brooker. Residents also get to enjoy amenities that include a lap pool, spa, a state- of-the-art gym, cinema, and a private lounge located on the mezzanine overlooking the bustling plaza. There is also a concierge service that is available 24/7. 

Principal Tower is in close proximity to five major transport hubs, making it conveniently accessible to all corners of the capital. This will appeal particularly to global citizens looking for a typical London experience.  

Principal Towers was designed to reduce energy use; the tower targets the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, with environmental strategies including a combined heat and power plant, roof mounted photovoltaic panels and grey water harvesting.
