Omenaa Mensah, the Founder, and President of the Omenaa Foundation, is not only known as an enterprising businesswoman and a prominent TV personality in Poland but is also celebrated as a philanthropist with a heart dedicated to making a positive impact. Her diverse background, as the daughter of a Polish mother and a Ghanaian father, has shaped her global perspective, leading her to establish the Omenaa Foundation in 2014. 

The Foundation’s core values of Education, Tolerance, and Cooperation guide its activities, and these values have been the driving force behind its success in making a difference in the lives of countless children. 

The Omenaa Foundation’s crowning initiative, The Grand Charity Auction, stands as Poland’s most prestigious charity event, supporting educational initiatives for Polish orphanages, children from Ukraine, and street children in Ghana. In 2023, the event took place in the enchanting courtyard of the 17th-century baroque Wilanów Palace, creating a truly unique and memorable experience. Over 1,500 dedicated individuals worked tirelessly for over 10 months to organize this grand event. 

A new addition to this year’s event was the Grand Charity Auction Exhibition in the Wilanów Palace Orangery, which ran for five weeks and showcased the works of exceptional artists, including Magdalena Abakanowicz, Igor Mitoraj, Xawery Wolski, and the world-renowned sculpture “Reina Mariana” by Manolo Valdés. This exhibition allowed a broader audience to appreciate and engage with art, further enriching the cultural experience. 

The Grand Charity Auction is an invitation-only event that brings together a distinguished group of 450 guests, including top-tier business leaders, prominent artists, art collectors, and influential personalities. This exclusive gathering exemplifies the synergy of business, art, and philanthropy and is a testament to the Omenaa Foundation’s remarkable ability to unite these worlds in support of a noble cause.
