Natasha Sturko Interiors is a boutique interior design studio specializing in bespoke solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Luxury Lifestyle Awards has chosen Natasha Sturko Interiors this year, as a winner for Best Luxury Residential Interior Design, for their work on the Abu Dhabi-based project entitled EARTH + FIRE.

Natasha has gained invaluable experience through her decades of traveling the globe. Her colorful adventures have been an inspiration to her work, as she draws on nature and the many cultures she’s discovered in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America. She is NCIDQ certified and serves as the firm’s principal designer.

Natasha is known for creating work that results in thoughtfully layered spaces, and her design aesthetic blends the old with the new, dark with the light, interior with exterior, and global with local.

The LLA-winning project, EARTH&FIRE is located on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. Completed in late 2021, the novel villa is a raw, natural, and tranquil coastal home for modern-minded, minimalist clients. The full turn-key interior design scope included finishes, custom joinery & furnishings, FF&E sourcing, and styling.

The warm ‘Japandi’ style of the project was achieved through a blend of Scandinavian and Asian furniture lines and earthy colors, with an overall ‘less is more’ design ethos at its heart.

There are many standout features of this project, including a central fireplace – a feature that is not too common in the UAE, and a central coffee table that has an inverted truncated pyramid design.

One of the team’s core studio values is ‘bespoke sustainability’ and wherever possible support local. Natural, sustainably sourced materials combined with natural fabrics and furnishings sourced from ethically responsible manufacturers contributed to a responsible project.
