This stunning renovation of a 20-year-old, 188-square-meter apartment in New Taipei City showcases the firm’s commitment to creating spaces that reflect the heart and soul of the homeowners.

Under the adept leadership of Founder Kao Shih Chieh, MoreIn Interior Design has always embraced a design philosophy that goes beyond aesthetics. The Luxury Mindset project is a perfect embodiment of their belief that true luxury stems from the heart. The design journey began in July 2020, and after a thorough construction period of nine months, the project was completed in July 2022. The result is a home that boasts function, beauty, and the personal aspirations of the family it serves.

The Luxury Mindset project by MoreIn Interior Design transforms an apartment into a tranquil sanctuary, embodying the essence of the client’s family. The design reallocates over half of the apartment’s floor space to expansive public areas that promote warmth and simplicity. A key feature is the elevated worship area, separated by a dark wooden walkway symbolizing flowing water, enhancing the sanctity of the space and guiding the flow of movement throughout the home. Neutral tones and wooden materials reinforce the design’s commitment to serenity.

Inspired by the concept of “Luxury from the Heart,” the design leads residents from darkness to light, creating a journey from the mundane to a paradise-like setting. The entryway, with its dimly lit tunnel and gray arched walls, opens into a light-filled public area where natural elements such as light, wind, and wood foster tranquility and warmth. This design allows the family to retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, creating a peaceful and harmonious living environment.

The design also addresses practical concerns, such as lighting and air circulation, with innovative solutions that harmonize with the overall aesthetic. The varied heights of the beams are incorporated into the softly contoured ceilings, while storage volumes are cleverly hidden to maintain the clean lines of the space.

The master bedroom, as well as the rooms for the two daughters, have been thoughtfully planned to balance function and aesthetics. The choice of furniture, sourced from Modern Design Studio, NW Living, and 3H CASA, further enhances the cohesive design, with each piece carefully selected to complement the overall theme. “We want to thank Luxury Lifestyle Awards for this wonderful recognition.
