JOIA Battersea has been recognized by Luxury Lifestyle Awards as a winner in the category of Best Luxury Portuguese Cuisine in London, UK, affirming its position as a distinctive London dining and drinking destination shaped by contemporary Portuguese cuisine, design, and elevated hospitality.

Set across the 15th and 16th floors of art’otel London Battersea Power Station, JOIA Battersea brings together restaurant, bar, and rooftop experiences with panoramic views over London and the landmark Power Station chimneys. Opened in February 2023, the concept is led by Michelin-starred Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa and reflects the Atlantic coast of Portugal through modern culinary expression, Iberian influence, cocktails, live music, and design-led interiors.

The destination includes JOIA Restaurant & Bar on the 15th floor and JOIA Rooftop on the 16th floor, allowing guests to move between dining, drinking, and skyline views within one multi-level hospitality setting. Its offering is defined by chef-led menus, seasonal dishes, limited seating, and a rooftop location that adds a sense of access within one of London’s most recognizable contemporary districts.

JOIA Battersea’s menu highlights include the Chef’s Sharing Menu, featuring dishes such as Beef Pica Pau and Arroz de Marisco with Bomba rice, red prawns, mussels, and razor clams. The experience also includes tableside presentation, such as Bacalhau à Brás with salted cod, crispy potatoes, confit egg yolk, and black olives. The cocktail menu reflects the Iberian region and is inspired by ten precious gems, echoing the meaning of JOIA as “jewel.”
