PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore has been recognized by the International Sustainability Awards in 2026 for Environmental Responsibility at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore, acknowledging its approach to responsible hospitality through sustainable food production, renewable energy integration, and resource-efficient operations.

Singapore’s first Garden-in-a-Hotel is home to more than 2,400 plants and 60 varieties of flora, with indoor greenery contributing to air quality throughout the property. Its in-house urban farm supports Singapore’s food resilience goals, supplying produce and herbs used daily across the hotel’s restaurant, bar, and spa.

Resource efficiency at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore also addressed through infrastructure and operational systems. The hotel’s 210 rooftop solar panels have generated approximately 350 kWh of renewable energy daily. Filtered water taps across all 583 guest rooms have eliminated the bottled water previously supplied in rooms and reduced the purchase of two million mini plastic bottles annually.

Digital initiatives further support this approach. The hotel’s Office Paperless System digitizes internal approvals and contributed to savings of close to 166,600 pages of paper in 2025. Digital guest communications and QR-code menus at banquet events provide additional ways to reduce printed materials.
