Hôtel des Horlogers, originally founded in 1857 as “Hotel de France,” In reference to the diligence of the postal service connecting Le Brassus to Les Rousses. In 2003, Audemars Piguet took ownership of this historic establishment and renamed it as “Hôtel des Horlogers” to pay homage to the renowned watchmaking expertise of La Vallée de Joux.

In 2016, a landmark decision was made to construct a new building that met the most rigorous Minergie Eco standards. The vision was realized through collaboration with the Bjarke Ingles Group, creating a synergy between the hotel and the natural surroundings. The result is 50 elegant rooms and suites, each offering breathtaking views of the Risoud forest while meeting the highest eco-responsible tourism standards.

The Gastronomy at Hotel des Horlogers is signed by the French three-Michelin-starred Chef Emmanuel Renaut and carried out on site by our Executive Chef Alessandro Cannata.
