Continuing south, the Avisio flows through Val di Cembra, renowned for its terraced vineyards and porphyry rocks. In Segonzano, in an area steeped in history and nature, you’ll find Beghel Winery, a family-run estate cultivating vines with passion and respect for the environment. Here you can enjoy a guided tour among the vineyards and cellars, tasting fresh, aromatic white wines such as Müller Thurgau, while discovering the secrets of mountain winemaking. The atmosphere is authentic, and the landscape — with castles and earth pyramids — is simply breathtaking.

San Michele all’Adige – Da Silvio Restaurant: Tradition and hospitality

Our journey along the Avisio ends in the Rotaliana Plain, where the river meets the Adige, symbolically joining Trentino’s “great river.” In San Michele all’Adige, right next to the famous Agricultural Institute, stands Da Silvio Restaurant, a true institution for lovers of authentic Trentino cuisine. In a rustic yet elegant setting, guests can savour traditional dishes such as carne salada, tortel di patate ( potato pie), and mountain cheeses. Everything is paired with carefully selected local wines. The attentive, family-style service makes this a genuine gastronomic “treat” to end the journey.
