Ergün Architecture, a leading design firm renowned for its innovative and user-centric approach, has been recognized by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards for its exceptional work on the Deka Campus project. Deka Campus, the new headquarters and production facility for Deka Electronics, clinched the title of Best Luxury Commercial Architecture in Turkey 2024.

Deka Campus presented Ergün Architecture with a unique design challenge: creating a luxurious and functional campus environment within a compact building footprint in Istanbul’s Esenyurt district, an area dominated by logistics and industrial structures. Ergün Architecture masterfully addressed this challenge by crafting a V-shaped structure with two distinct yet complementary wings.

The two-story transparent block at the Deka Campus houses executive offices and collaborative workspaces. Its curved entrance plaza exudes an air of luxury, perfectly complementing the high-end office spaces. The southern wing houses the production hall and social areas, with the roof cleverly transformed into the heart of the campus – a lush garden accessible from the cafeteria, conference hall, and office spaces.

Ergün Architecture prioritized sustainability throughout the Deka Campus project. The building is on track for LEED Gold certification, minimizing environmental impact. It leverages existing infrastructure, promotes the use of public transportation, and features electric vehicle charging stations. The landscaping incorporates native plants, utilizes efficient irrigation systems, and harvests rainwater for irrigation. The project also prioritizes energy and water efficiency, incorporating daylight harvesting and photovoltaic panels on the roof for renewable energy generation.

Ergün Architecture’s focus on user experience is evident in the Deka Campus design. The interior spaces boast a flexible layout, anticipating future transformations, while exposed structural elements and natural materials like stone and wood create a unique and dynamic work environment.
