Elite Echelons of Golf at DerÖschberghof Golf Course

Please excuse the cliché, but if it’s one thing that Germans are known for, it would be quality. For the DerÖschberghof to then be awarded in the category of Best Luxury Golf Resort in Germany by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards is a mammoth achievement.

Nestled in the Baar Valley between the Black Forest, Switzerland, and Lake Constance – one could not hope for a more splendiferous setting.  From beginner to professional players, the DerÖschberghof Golf Course offers an idyllic location only one hour’s drive from Zurich or Stuttgart.

The DerÖschberghof Golf Course offers three courses totaling 45 holes: The Old Course, the East Course, and the Academy course. There is also of course a driving range where one can set your eye. All of the courses are set on a total of 200 hectares of manicured greens. Golf caddies are trained and experienced in order to support you throughout your game.

The DerÖschberghof Golf Course offers a golfing academy of nine holes where the aim is to perfect each aspect of the game. The Trackman Analysis is offered in two spots in the Golf Academy Building where video analysis and professional golfers help to perfect each swing.

The Old Course

This golf course was established in 1975 and has been nurtured ever since to be redesigned in 2017 by Christoph Städler. This golf course architect designed a park-type landscape with a variety of athletic greens and bundles of trees. This 18-hole course is the longest of the three, however, is mainly flat and does not require too much effort to conquer.

During the 2017 Old Course rebuild, another equally astonishing 18-hole golf course was established. The East Course is a slightly more challenging course and has key-shaped typography in the likeness of a left course. The open course layout offers densely structured shrubbery and solitary trees.

DerÖschberghof Golf Course is now a regular retreat of Martin Kaymer – a two-time golf championship winner. Kaymer has partnered with the golf course to offer special programs. Thanks to the partnership, the golf course is host to many tournaments that include youth and charitable groups.

DerÖschberghof Golf Course is accompanied by a world-class hotel that shares the same esteemed name – DerÖschberghof. The entire experience on offer includes accommodation, a spa, restaurants, and of course, the golf courses.

Alexander Aisenbrey, managing director of the Öschberghof recognizes the Luxury Lifestyle Award, saying, “We are humbled to receive this award that affirms our efforts to position the golf course as a premiere destination for all levels of golfers.”
