Dhai Space has been recognized by Luxury Lifestyle Awards in the category of Best Luxury Bedroom Interior Design for Raw Elegance in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The recognition highlights the studio’s work on Raw Elegance, a residential renovation project that transformed a former playroom into a bespoke master bedroom defined by natural materials, thoughtful detailing, and a highly personalized design approach. 

Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Dhai Space specializes primarily in residential interior design while also maintaining a portfolio of commercial projects. Led by founder Dhai Yasser, the studio focuses on creating interiors that reflect the lifestyles and personalities of its clients through carefully considered design solutions and material selections. 

Raw Elegance was developed within a residential property approximately 15 years old and involved a complete renovation and reconfiguration of the existing space. The design process began with an in-depth understanding of the client’s lifestyle, daily routines, and aesthetic preferences. This informed the spatial planning, furniture layout, and overall design direction, resulting in a bedroom environment tailored to the way the client naturally uses the space. 

Natural materials formed the foundation of the project’s design language. Solid wood, natural marble, leather, and suede were selected to establish a refined and balanced palette. A carved wood entrance table featuring shell handles and a natural marble top in deep green and warm orange tones served as an important reference point for the room’s color story. The design also incorporated a custom library inspired by the client’s passion for reading and collecting objects from different countries. Its curved form introduced visual softness while establishing a recurring design motif reflected throughout the furniture and architectural details. 

Particular attention was given to material coordination and bespoke detailing throughout the project. Three different types of natural marble were custom-selected and fabricated specifically for the interior concept. Custom-designed side tables and a distinctive asymmetrical coffee table were commissioned from London, while locally manufactured elements were carefully coordinated to maintain consistency in color, finish, and craftsmanship. Additional details included leaf-shaped curtain handles inspired by the wallpaper pattern, custom double-layered mirrors designed to echo the curved library, and parquet flooring arranged in a distinctive pattern to create a strong visual introduction to the suite.
