ONTARIO, CANADA – DB Custom Homes Inc., an award-winning luxury custom home builder serving the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities, has been recognized by Luxury Lifestyle Awards in the category of Best Luxury Custom Home Developer in Ontario, Canada. The distinction acknowledges the company’s commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, personalized service, technical expertise and a highly collaborative approach to luxury residential construction.

Founded in 2009 by David Bernstein, DB Custom Homes has established a reputation for delivering sophisticated custom residences that reflect the individual vision, lifestyle and aspirations of each client. With more than two decades of industry experience guiding its leadership, the company approaches every project with the understanding that exceptional homes require more than outstanding construction. They demand careful planning, trusted relationships, thoughtful execution and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Central to the company’s philosophy is a highly personalized approach to the building experience. Rather than relying on a standardized construction model, DB Custom Homes tailors its project management, estimating, procurement and communication strategies to the unique requirements of each residence. From initial planning through final completion, the company works closely with homeowners and their chosen architects, interior designers and consultants to align architectural vision with practical construction considerations, budget expectations and project timelines.

This collaborative approach is particularly valuable in complex, architecturally ambitious homes, where intricate detailing, bespoke materials and specialized building systems require exceptional coordination. Through proactive planning, experienced on-site leadership and close oversight of workmanship, DB Custom Homes brings together skilled trades and craftspeople to execute demanding residential projects with precision and consistency.

Beyond architectural excellence, the company places considerable emphasis on building science, durability and long-term performance. With experience in Net Zero and Passive House construction, DB Custom Homes brings advanced technical knowledge to the integration of energy-efficient building envelopes, high-performance mechanical systems, indoor environmental quality and sustainable construction practices. This expertise allows the company to support clients seeking healthier, more comfortable and energy-efficient homes while preserving the architectural integrity and individuality of each project.

For DB Custom Homes, luxury is defined not only by the quality of the finished residence, but also by the experience of creating it. Transparent communication, personal accountability and meticulous attention to detail are fundamental to the company’s approach, ensuring that clients remain informed, engaged and confident throughout the construction process.

The recognition from Luxury Lifestyle Awards reflects this philosophy and reinforces DB Custom Homes’ position within Ontario’s luxury residential construction market. By combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary building technologies and a client-focused management approach, the company continues to deliver distinctive residences designed for enduring quality, comfort and value.

Commenting on the recognition, Alexander Chetchikov, President of the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce, stated:

“DB Custom Homes demonstrates how luxury residential development can be shaped through close collaboration, disciplined project management, and genuine attention to the individual client. Its personalized approach allows each residence to respond to a specific lifestyle and vision, while careful coordination and craftsmanship support the quality expected of a high-end custom home.”
