Step into Your Custom-made Dream Home with Goldfish Interiors

Goldfish Interiors is an interior design studio that has implemented successful projects for private residences, apartments, boutiques, and offices in Slovakia and Austria. They strive to manifest a beautiful and pleasant environment for people to live in. With an impressive portfolio of various completed projects, the successful company has won a Luxury Lifestyle Awardsin the category of Best Luxury Residential Interior Design for their project Senec Gardens Villa in Slovakia, 2022.

“Let’s start a new project”, says Mário Červenka, Ceo  – Partner / Czech Republic.  In addition to interior designs, the firm also provides a complete service, from the first construction phases – securing all materials, and dealing with suppliers, to the final decoration and finishing touches. They offer their own custom furniture production and can provide complete custom carpentry work.

Goldfish Interiors boasts 13 years on the market, 144 unique projects, and 66950 designed meters squared.

The renowned design team is led by Chief Designer, Alexandra Rybárova, and the services offered are divided into 2 parts: the interior design phase, and the realization of the interior phase.

The interior design phase and offerings include:

  • Focus and digitization of space
  • Visualizations in photo-realistic quality
  • Corrections in designs and visualizations after client feedback
  • Design and modification of layout, arrangement of equipment elements
  • Selection of furnishing items (lamps, wallpaper, curtains, decorations)
  • Drawing documentation of the furniture as a basis for the price offer
  • Water and waste drawing
  • Drawing of plasterboard ceilings
  • Lighting drawing with suggested lighting types
  • Custom furniture production with a non-binding price offer, an initial meeting with Goldfish Interior’s carpenters

And the 2nd phase, the realization of the interior, includes the following elements:

  • Development of an interior project based on a study
  • Interior design budget
  • Realization of the interior on a turnkey basis
  • Author’s supervision during the reconstruction
  • Complete management of construction and individual professions
  • Negotiated price

The Goldfish Interiors team has only minimal requirements of their prospective clients, before beginning on their journey together. If you have decided on an interior design and are interested in collaborating with the studio, they only ask that you prepare the basic information – the floor area to be solved, a brief description of your requirements, and your approximate budget for the realization of the interior. If photos of the actual space and floor plan are available, those will also be of great benefit.

Goldfish Interiors value each client’s needs and specifications and take into account their specified budget. They do maintain, however, that “the implementation is a live process”, which involves several external suppliers, whom the firm only contacts after the design is finished. They realize that the client’s requirements may change during the design process, and sometimes hidden, unpredictable items will appear. Therefore, they always advise in advance that the predetermined budget might need to be altered slightly.

The firm does, however, always consult their client before each change or choice, and if the client isn’t happy, they make it their priority to find a more appropriate alternative. “We care about quality materials and products because we want to deliver only the best to our clients. But ultimately, the decision of what you want to invest in and what you want to save on is up to you.”

To get a better idea of the timeframe of Goldfish Interior’s services, the design part of the project usually lasts 1-3 months, while the realization of the interior takes on average 2-4 months. The duration of the implementation also depends on the demands and size of the space, as well as the current workload of their contractors. If larger construction interventions are planned, such as in the statics of the building, it will also be necessary to obtain a building permit. In that case, the project may take a while longer to be completed.

The LLA-winning project, Senec Gardens Villa in Slovakia is Goldfish Interior’s latest Turnkey project. The work is a lavish, 2-storey building with ultra-modern finishes and fixtures, completed with muted colours, characterful lighting, contemporary shapes and patterns, beautiful, dark woods, and a sprinkle of velvets – emerald green, pastel purple, and soft pink, finished off with highlights of gold.
