Since its founding in 2007, Ramy Boutros Architects has established itself as a design house where interiors become narratives and architecture transforms into living art. Guided by the philosophy of its founder and creative director, Ramy Boutros, the firm approaches each project by elevating textures and finishes into potent expressions of character and intent. The company’s work merges luxury with comfort, revealing clients’ passions through spaces of lasting sophistication.
With headquarters in Beirut and a portfolio that spans continents, the studio undertakes residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, as well as furniture and jewelry design. This range reflects a curiosity and passion for exploring different creative directions, while maintaining a consistent emphasis on individuality and cultural identity.

The studio’s reputation for excellence was highlighted at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2025, where it was honored for two highly distinctive projects:
These achievements highlight the firm’s ability to respond to vastly different briefs—ranging from an intimate private residence to a prominent hospitality venue—while maintaining a consistent focus on atmosphere, character, and experiential depth.

Completed in 2024, the BT Bizri Apartment in Lebanon captures the essence of what a private home should be: expressive and inviting. The client envisioned a cozy retreat, filled with natural sunlight and layered with warmth and texture. Ramy Boutros Architects translated this vision into a sunlit haven where natural wood is the protagonist. Walls and ceilings in light-toned timber create a jewel box effect, enveloping the interiors in a cocoon-like atmosphere.
The design balances clean lines with eclectic touches, weaving together vintage pieces, contemporary furniture, and personal artifacts to reflect the client’s lifestyle. Large windows ensure the spaces remain open and airy, with natural light enhancing the textures and materials throughout. The result is a home that feels both expressive and inviting, a space where functionality meets poetic design.

On a grander stage, Em Sherif Restaurant at the St. Regis Hotel in Muscat shows how hospitality design can embody brand heritage while responding to its environment. The interiors adopt a palette of blue and white, echoing the sea and sky. High ceilings and expansive windows heighten the sense of lightness, while custom-designed features such as Moucharabieh screens and bespoke wallpaper introduce cultural detail into a contemporary framework. Outdoor terraces and a glazed winter garden extend the dining experience across seasons, while tailored furniture pieces enhance both comfort and sophistication.
This restaurant maintains the authenticity for which Em Sherif is known, while introducing coastal references that suit its five-star hotel setting. The result is a dining destination that feels rooted in tradition and attuned to its surroundings.

What unites these projects is the firm’s belief in storytelling through design. The firm breathes vitality into every detail, transforming materials into living narratives. The team’s reach is global, with residential and commercial projects completed in Philadelphia, London, Paris, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Cairo, and beyond. Across these diverse geographies, the unifying thread remains the same: creating spaces that transcend trends to establish lasting connections between people and the places they inhabit.

Ramy Boutros Architects continues to grow, bringing its perspective of luxury as comfort and comfort as luxury into new contexts. Whether designing an intimate apartment or an expansive hospitality venue, the firm’s approach ensures that every project is more than a structure: it is a story, a reflection, and ultimately, a living experience.
