The house sits on a hill in eastern Westphalia making the most of the stunning views over the city and is laid out like a gallery with plenty of space for art on the walls. The cleverly designed villa is divided into multiple areas all offering clear functions and making their own design statement. In the central entrance hall a striking orangery with tropical planting welcomes family and friends into the home’s open plan living style. 

The architects have made the most of the beautiful natural surroundings with the large picture windows overlooking the many manicured garden areas, loggias and terraces. The generous terrace area with its sparkling pool offers picturesque city views and cleverly thought out planting helps to merge the feel of nature from outside to in from all sides. A multi-stemmed solitary tree sits proudly in the cut on the south side of the building while a floating storey makes a bold design statement on the north. A dramatic and elegant building with its own clear signature inspired by the renowned architect’s incredible vision.
