The Cliff Bar & Grill, since its inception, has gone from strength to strength. Founded in 2004 by Bradley Munns, The Cliff has become a Samui landmark and a must-dine-in experience and has become the worthy recipient of a Luxury Lifestyle Awards in 2022, for Best Luxury Mediterranean Cuisine in Thailand, 2022.

From gradually building their reputation through consistent improvement of their cuisine, service, and architecture, The Cliff Bar & Grill has reached landmark status in Koh Samui, Thailand. The owner, Bradley Munns, and general manager, Lionel Helena, traveled to Portugal, Spain, and Italy to find a unique blend of herbs, spices, oils, and recipes to create truly unforgettable, tantalizing flavors. When the restaurant opened, it set the benchmark for the best Samui restaurants.

The Cliff is nestled on top of natural granite boulders that lead into the azure waters of Crystal Bay. Their restaurant overlooks the pristine Silver Beach. With nothing but two pillars separating the outside and inside dining area, everyone can enjoy the sublime view. With cool Mediterranean style, terrazzo flooring and the soft, ocean breeze flowing through the restaurant even the indoor dining area has a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

For those looking to escape the tropical temperatures, there is an air-conditioned bar/lounge area with plush sofas, bar chairs, and dining tables. There is also a luxurious alabaster-lined bar that, when lit up in the evenings, creates a relaxed retreat for after-dinner drinks. Their newly renovated waiting area/lounge at the front of the restaurant allows for additional air-conditioned luxury. Decorated with modern abstract art and décor, you can enjoy cocktails and light bites in a cool, contemporary lounge whilst awaiting your reservation.

Keeping in line with their total dedication to satisfying their customers, all of their vegetables are organically grown, including their herbs which are hand-picked from their very own herb garden. Their seafood is caught and supplied on a daily basis and directly delivered to The Cliff by local fishermen. Australia is known for having some of the best meats in the world, and keeping this in mind when opening the restaurant, they have selected some of the best meats they have to offer. Coming in from King Island, their beef which is 150-days grain-fed and dry-aged for 28 days, is never frozen, only chilled and flown in on a weekly basis.

Mouth-watering cuisine is a given at The Cliff, and guests are invited to enjoy seafood combos, imported meats, and homemade pastas, paired with an intriguing display of award-winning wines from around the world that complement this Mediterranean dining experience perfectly.

And one of the most important parts of The Cliff is their kitchen team headed by Executive Chef Sergio Martelli. Originally from Italy, Sergio has worked at some of the top restaurants around the world. From day one, Sergio has been the mastermind of the restaurant’s kitchen and menu. He brings invaluable knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine to your palates. By his side are Head Chef Kwang Apinya, an extremely talented chef specializing in Mediterranean cuisine and mouthwatering desserts, and Pastry Chef, Thong Chai, famous for his magnificent pastries and exquisite plating.
