Mergin Jewelry approaches fine and high jewelry as a form of personal expression – one shaped by exceptional gemstones, artistic ideas, and stories intended to remain relevant beyond a single moment. Founded in Dubai in 2020 by jewelry designer Mehragin Rahmati, the house creates bespoke pieces with an emphasis on individuality, emotion, and refined craftsmanship. This distinctive approach has placed Mergin Jewelry among the TOP 100 Jewelry and Watch Brands of the World 2026 by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards.
Mehragin’s path in jewelry design began in 2011, informed by interests extending well beyond traditional jewelry disciplines. Her background in clinical psychology, years of oil painting, and studies in graphic design contribute to a creative perspective in which jewelry functions as a wearable canvas. Rather than treating beauty as an isolated objective, she develops pieces around ideas, memories, emotions, nature, and human experience.
For Mergin Jewelry, a jewel can invite curiosity before revealing the narrative behind its form.

Designed Around the Individual
This philosophy becomes particularly personal within the bespoke process. Mehragin considers the client’s personality, age, style, preferences, lifestyle, and physical proportions before developing a design. Conversation forms an important part of understanding what the client wants and what may feel natural to wear over time.
The resulting pieces are conceived for specific individuals rather than passing trends. Comfort, proportion, color harmony, construction, finishing, and gemstone character are considered alongside the underlying concept.
That individualized approach reflects Mergin Jewelry’s wider view of luxury: a piece should possess visual distinction while developing meaning through the relationship between the jewel and its wearer.
Gemstones as Part of the Composition
Material selection is central to this process. Mergin Jewelry works with diamonds and colored gemstones including Paraiba tourmalines, opals, pearls, rubellites, and tourmalines, while also exploring less commonly used stones distinguished by color, cut, or character. Selected creations incorporate titanium alongside gold and gemstones.
Mehragin’s experience as a painter is particularly evident in her treatment of color. Gemstones are considered not simply as individual materials but as elements within a complete composition, with attention given to contrast, harmony, brilliance, and proportion.
Quality and authenticity are supported through documentation. Many important gemstones used by the house have certificates from recognized gemological laboratories. Completed pieces receive Mergin’s Certificate of Authenticity and, where applicable, an independent certificate for the finished jewelry from a recognized gemologist or laboratory such as GIA, IGI, or HRD.

Jewelry That Changes With Its Wearer
Multifunctionality adds another dimension to the house’s design language. Mergin Jewelry creates pieces capable of transforming into different wearable forms, allowing one jewel to adapt to multiple occasions and styles. Depending on the design, a creation may function as a necklace, pendant, ring, brooch, tiara, or another configuration.
One Mergin creation can be worn in six different ways, including as a tiara, pendant, and in different necklace forms. The design received a Platinum A’ Design Award. Across the brand’s work, multifunctionality connects creative experimentation with a practical idea – fine jewelry can offer more possibilities for wear without sacrificing artistic character.
This thinking also informs Mergin Jewelry’s approach to longevity. The objective is jewelry that can be preserved, transformed, and valued over time.
Stories Carried in Precious Materials
Storytelling remains the connecting thread. The Mayura ring draws on the peacock as a representation of self-confidence. Tears of Ocean addresses respect for wild animals and their natural habitats, while Serena Marella explores ocean protection and marine pollution through a multifunctional tiara and necklace. The Beauty and the Beast ring considers themes of love, loyalty, and protection.
Mehragin also writes the narratives for videos presenting Mergin Jewelry’s creations and participates directly in their visual development, from concepts and settings to the way each piece is presented. Drawing on her background in graphic design, she also personally oversees the brand’s graphic design and overall visual identity, including the creative direction and presentation of its social media.

With 22 international awards and recognitions attributed to its designs, Mergin Jewelry has established a body of work centered on artistic expression, personalization, quality, and experimentation. Its 2026 TOP 100 recognition adds another point of international validation to a house whose defining idea remains distinctly personal: jewelry can be beautiful at first sight while carrying something deeper for the person who chooses to wear it.
